1 MONTH OLD
How does this happen? I mean when I was pregnant with this little girl, the last few months seemed to drag on for what felt like 3 years!!!!!!
Paige has fit right into our family in the most perfect way and we love having a little girl, even though we were skeptical when we found out (sorry hun). She has a pretty laid back personality like Beckett did when he was a little guy. She does however let you know when she is hungry and wants it right then! She is getting so strong everyday... she can hold her head up pretty good and loves to try and turn herself.
Two things she inherited from both Ryan and I, is our stubborness, and our ability to sleep... not at night that is, but during the day! Ryan and I are the worst at staying up til midnight or later but love taking naps during the day. Paige is the exact same way! Her most awake time is from about 8pm til 11 or even later. We don't mind it one bit though... it has given us plenty of special one on one time with her while the little man is in bed! We especially love just talking to her and watching her smile. What a special blessing to be her Mom and Dad!
Paige is getting so big and I am sure will be in 99th percentile at her 2 month appointment just like Beckett. I decided to get the scale out last night and weigh her and she was exactly 12 lbs!!!

I love this little girl and her little personality. Ryan and I joke that she is already such a girl...dramatic and knows how to work it. She has us both wrapped around her finger at every little whimper and whine! We love you Paigey Sue and are so happy you decided to come to our family!!

Our sweet little girl had two big milestones today. She took a bath in the big kid tub! I think she liked it, she was a little fussy at the beginning, but she got all clean and then calmed down once she was all snuggled up in her towel. After her bath she was very hungry and well Mommy had a little boy to handle so while I got him taken care of she managed to find her little thumb and suck away til I made my way back and could feed the little princess. It was so sweet and cute.
I am not saying that I want a thumb sucker. I mean when I nannyed, Sydney sucked her thumb until she was 5 almost 6 years old and it drove me crazy! I do have to admit that it would be nice to not carry a pacifier around or deal with the germs that come with those things, plus she seriously was so adorable sucking away!!
